Workshop Pemanfaatan PMM dan Asesmen

Dalam rangka semakin menguatkan pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka, SMA Negeri 2 Mataram terus melakukan upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Kali ini dilakukan Workshop Pemanfaatan Platform Merdeka Mengajar dan Asesmen. Kegiatan ini dilakukan hari Senin-Rabu, 6-8 November 2023 setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran efektif diikuti semua guru SMAN 2 Mataram dan pegawai ASN.

Kepala SMAN 2 Mataram, Abdul Kadir Alaydrus, S.P., M.Pd dalam sambutannya menyampaikan latar belakang pelaksanaan kegiatan ini. Ia menjelaskan bahwa kondisi nyata menuntut guru untuk selalu meningkatkan kompetensi. Data menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan PMM oleh guru Smanda belum maksimal. Di sisi lain, hasil tes psikologi juga belum menjadi acuan utama pelayanan pembelajaran siswa. Kondisi-kondisi tersebut mendorong pihak sekolah untuk memperbaiki kondisi dengan menyiapkan guru dan tenaga kependidikan dari aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan.

Workshop kali ini dibuka oleh Sekretaris Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan NTB, Jaka Wahyana. Dalam sesi penyampaian materi, Jaka Wahyana, S.Pd. memberikan analogi menarik berkaitan dengan bagaimana guru harus menyesuaikan diri dengan kondisi siswa zaman sekarang. Dengan menganalogikan warga pendatang yang harus menyesuaikan diri dengan warga asli atau warga setempat, beliau menegaskan bahwa guru adalah pendatang poada masa kini dan siswalah yang menjadi pemiliki atau ‘penduduk asli’ zaman ini. Oleh karenanya, guru harus menyesuaikan diri dengan siswa dan zaman mereka. Di samping itu, ia menekankan pentingnya mendidik siswa mengikuti ‘manual atau buku panduan’ dari pencipta siswa atau manusia, yakni mendidik siswa berpedoman pada kitab suci agama-agama.

Terdapat tiga materi pokok dalam workshop yang dilaksanakan dengan pola in-on-in ini. Hari pertama diisi materi Pemanfaatan Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM). Narasumber materi ini adalah Samsul Fahrozi, Captain belajar.id Nusa Tenggara Barat. Narasumber menyampaiakn materi-materi pokok tentang pentingnya pemanfaatan berbagai fasilitas yang disiapkan pemerintah termasuk PMM, konten-konten PMM, serta cara pemanfaatannya. Peserta langsung mempraktikkan pemanfaatan PMM, misalnya cara mengunduh bahan ajar, cara memanfaatkan asesmen, cara memanfaatkan modul ajar, dan cara melaksanakan pelatihan mandiri. Hari kedua diisi dengan lanjutan materi PMM khususnya yang berkaitan dengan Pelatihan Mandiri. Materi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Pengisian SKP yang dipandu koordinator PKG dan PKB SMAN 2 Mataram, Drs. H. Bambang Indrato. Materi ini penting karena sebagaian guru masih belum menyelesaikan pengisian SKP sampai bulan Oktober 2023. Di hari ketiga, workshop diisi materi pemanfaatan hasil asesmen bakat dan minat untuk pembelajaran. Materi disampaikan oleh Drs. Kristian Pake Seko, Pengawas SMA di Cabang Dinas Dikbud Mataram-Lombok Barat yang juga ahli dalam tes psikologi. Materi ini sangat menarik bagi peserta karena narasumber langsung menunjukkan data hasil tes psikologi siswa kelas X dengan berbagai variasi hasil tes yang menantang guru untuk mengelaborasi data tersebut. Guru mengaitkan hasil tes dengan kondisi siswa yang dilihat sehari-hari lalu membahasnya bersama narasumber.

Gunawan, M.Pd. selaku Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum selanjutnya memberikan penguatan tentang pemanfaatan hasil asesmen psikologi, bakat, dan minat untuk menentukan mata pelajaran pilihan siswa di fase F. Ia menjelaskan bahwa pemilihan mata pelajaran pada prinsipnya diserahkan sepenuhnya kepada minat siswa. Sekolah memfasilitasi minat siswa dengan memberikan pertimbangan-pertimbangan pada siswa termasuk hasil asesmen psikologi mereka. Guru Matematika ini juga mengemukakan permasalahan selama ini yang dihadapi dalam kaitannya dengan mata pelajaran pilihan dan ‘penjurusan atau pembagian kelas’. Persoalan utama yang dihadapi sekolah justru dalam kaitannya dengan keinginan orang tua. “Sebagian orang tua memiliki kecenderungan ‘memaksakan keinginan’ pada anak dan sekolah untuk mengikuti kelas atau jurusan yang menurut orang tua sesuai dengan kondisi anaknya. Padahal keinginan orang tua tersebut acapkali bertentangan dengan minat anak”, paparnya. Menghadapi situasi seperti ini, beliau menjelaskan bahwa untuk mengambil keputusan yang tidak merugikan anak, sekolah akan mengundang orang tua untuk membahasnya bersama guru BK, siswa, dan wali kelas.

Workshop selama tiga hari ini dirasakan manfaatnya oleh para guru. Salah seorang guru senior, Dra. Hasinah Martini, mengungkapkan bahwa materi kegiatan kali ini memberikan tambahan wawasan, misalnya tentang pemanfaatan PMM. “Sebelum workshop ini saya tidak begitu mendalami kurikulum merdeka termasuk PMM sebagai pendukungnya. Namun setelah kegiatan ini saya lebih memahami dan ingin memanfaatkan fasilitas PMM untuk mendalami kurikulum merdeka serta penerapan dan pelaksanaannya.” Berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan asesmen psikologi untuk mendukung pembelajaran, Wakasek Kesiswaan SMAN 2 Mataram, Lalu Iskandar, S.Pd. mengungkapkan bahwa hasil asesmen pasikologi yang ada semestinya dimanfaatkan secara tepat untuk melayani dan mengembangkan potensi-potensi siswa. “Elaborasi bersama narasumber menguatkan pemahaman kita bahwa siswa-siswi kita memiliki keunikan, kelebihan, potensi yang terkadang lepas dari pencermatan kita. Guru harus memanfaatkan data hasil asesmen psikologi untuk memaksimalkan pembelajaran berbasis murid”, ujar guru mapel Fisika ini.
